First Concert of Arion’s Croque-Baroque Series 2015-2016

Montreal, September 9, 2015 – The first concert this season of Arion’s popular Croque-Baroque Series, Flutes and Company!, will take place at Montreal’s Gallery Gora, on September 18, 2015 from noon to 1 p.m. The recorder of rising star Alexa Raine-Wright will mingle with the transverse flute of Claire Guimond and Arion’s chamber orchestra. This concert devoted to works by Telemann and Bach is sure to usher in the new musical season with a welcome breeze.
Arion invites you to come off the bustling city streets into the pleasant contemporary setting of Gallery Gora (on Sherbrooke Street West at the corner of Park Avenue) to unwind to the sounds of a chamber music concert on period instruments. Discover up-and-coming baroque musicians performing with the more seasoned players of Arion, accompanied if you wish by a light lunch on the spot.
