Hosting an Arion Musician 

Each year, Arion Baroque Orchestra welcomes talented musicians from around the world to participate in its stunning musical season. To provide these musicians with a more comfortable stay in Montreal, we are seeking local host families to welcome these candidates into their home. Hosting a musician is a marvelous way to better understand the music and to perhaps even create a long-term friendship between guest and host. 

Host families can be Arion volunteers, Arion ticketholders or people with a genuine love of music. Host applications will be accepted throughout the year. Musicians will be responsible for their own transportation and meals during their stay. The Host’s responsibility is to provide a place to sleep and relax. Home stays range from one week to three weeks. It is our hope that in this amount of time, true friendship can form, and that these house stays will be something to look forward to year after year.
