Chloe Meyers lived many of her professional years in Montreal, learning from her mentors and the visiting guest artists in Arion Baroque Orchestra. She now is concertmaster of the Pacific Baroque Orchestra in Vancouver, and also teaches baroque violin at the University of British Columbia. She is principal second violinist of Arion, and performs with early music ensembles across North America as a leader, soloist, and chamber musician. She has performed with groups numerous times such as Pacific Musicworks, Victoria Baroque players, Tempo Rubato, Ensemble Masques, Les Boreades, the Theatre of Early Music, and Les Voix Baroques, of which she was a founding member.
Chloe's playing can be heard on many award-winning disks, including three Juno-nominated recordings she led as concertmaster.
She has taken to the exploration of alternate string instruments, including the violino piccolo, and the viola d'amore, the later of which she has been gifted an original made.
