Settled in Montreal for seven years, François is actively involved in the musical life of the city. He performs regularly with Ensemble Caprice, the Arion Orchestra, Les Violons du Roy, and with the wind quintet O5. After obtaining the degree at Poitiers and a first prize at Versailles, François was admitted to the Conservatory Supérior of Lyon in the class of Laurent Lefèvre, where he also studied the baroque bassoon. After receiving his prestigious award, Francois went on to join the wind quintet «impromptu concert» for one year.
