Biography
Marie studied early music at McGill University, where she completed her Master’s in historical violin in 2019. In 2015, she creates with a baroque trio ensemble called les Barocudas, whose performances throughout Quebec and the United States are well known for their creativity and excellence.
Marie is the recipient of many awards, prizes and scholarships, notably an Early Music America scholarship for attending the American Bach Soloists Academy in 2017, as well as the prestigious Mary McLaughlin Prize, which was granted to her by McGill University 4 years in a row. In 2019, Marie won first Prize in the Mathieu Duguay International Early Music Competition, as well as Public’s Choice, the Barachois summer festival prize and the Montreal Baroque prize.
