His professional activity includes concerts, opera and recitals, and he pays great attention to the style and expression of each period, using his voice to best bring out the music. His recent successful concert performances of Bach´s Passions at the Vienna Musikverein, Ein Deutsches Requiem at the Bozar in Brussels, and his debuts with orchestras such as the Cincinnati Symphony, BBC Symphony, BBC Philharmonic and the Budapest Festival Orchestra, attest to his current great form.

He has also sung various operas by Händel (Giulio Cesare, Rinaldo, Radamisto, at the Teatro Bellas Artes in Mexico, and Rodelinda, at the Teatro Real in Madrid in a Claus Guth production). Other roles include Figaro, Don Giovanni and Escamillo, as well as numerous zarzuelas. In 2019 he will make his opera debut at the Gran Teatro del Liceo in Barcelona in Benet Casablancas´ first opera, L’enigma di Lea, and will take the title role in Verdi´s Macbeth as well as the role of Sharpless.
