Camille Paquette-Roy is a versatile cellist active on the Montreal baroque, classical and popular scenes. After a graduate degree at the Trois-Rivières Conservatory of Music (2009) and a Master’s degree in performance at McGill University (2011), she embarked on what thrills her most: chamber music. Her love of early music leads her to play with Pallade Musica, the Arion Baroque Orchestra, the Caprice ensemble and the Les Songes ensemble.
On the classical scene, she co-founded the Esca Quartet with her colleagues in 2004. Camille is also passionate about shows that allow her to pass on her love of music to young people, notably in Les Puces de Stradivarius (Jeunesses Musicales du Canada) and The Revolt of the Ancients (Arion).
